Ingredients

Allantoin: Stimulates healing

Benzalkonium Chloride: Antiseptic

Amino Acids: Common to all creatures from bacteria to man, amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Every living cell contains protein and cannot function properly without it. Some must be supplied by food and are called " essential". Amino acids are rapidly absorbed in the blood stream, and in combination with vitamins, provide essential nutrients to a wound area to promote healing.

Protein: Consists of amino acids and constitutes about 15% of body weight. Protein is of critical importance in the structure and function of cells, and many skin problems such as chapping and dryness appear to be associated with damage to, or actual loss of skin protein.

Vitamins: Essential for normal growth. The skin is often the first indication of a vitamin deficiency that can cause dry skin. DERMAFAS contains vitamins A & D, E and B (dl-panthenol)

Cod Liver Oil: A rich source of vitamins A and D. When vitamin A deficiency occurs the most outstanding symptom is dry, scaly skin

Mineral Oil: Primarily functions as an occlusive barrier to retard moisture loss (an important part of burn therapy) without restricting essential ingredient absorption.

Tea Tree Oil: (Melaleuca alternifolia): Australian Tea Tree Oil has long existed in Australia as a widely used herbal antiseptic and fungicidal agent.

Preservatives: Researchers are very aware of the dangers associated with microbial contamination of topical products. Unfortunately the battle against contamination is far from won as adaptable organisms continue to cause problems resulting in bacterial infection of the skin. DERMAFAS incorporates proven preservative agents to ensure that DERMAFAS remains free of contamination.
